does anyone know if you can install a new graphics card into a laptop. mine has 64mb shared graphics & i need a faster graphics card

The graphics cards in all the laptops I know of are integrated into the motherboard with no option to add a new card. The only improvement you can make is to allocate more memory to the graphics via the BIOS setup and to install more RAM to compensate.

Gongoozler thanks thats what i thought but how do you allocate more memory to the graphics? i didn't know you could do that.

You can upgrade the graphics. There is now something called the XG Station and connects to the Express Card slot in your laptop. Just Google it and you should find it.

Not always possible, best thing would be to have a look in the manual and see what it says.
