When i tried to do some dusting on my laptop then i accidentally broke the 4 pin connector from the motherboard , but somehow i managed to make connection through usb cable by connecting red and black wires and it worked but i was having some other software problem , so i tried to update the bios and since then iam getting the " fan error " . Any help will be appriciated

FAn error because the other two connections are for feedback to the BIOS so BIOS can not see fan.

Is there not another fan connection on the motherboard for a case fan, you could use than.

My laptop have only single fan so in dont think that there would be any other connection for fan . But there must be a way to fix it
