Laptop Crashing Windows 10 Sabre 17

Hi,

I have a brand new laptop that I have been using for around 3 days, it is a Gigabyte Sabre 17.

I have been encountering a problem with the laptop randomly crashing where the mouse becomes unusable, the screen freezes & I get a buzzing sound. I have to reboot the laptop to get it working again. Sometimes it won't happen all day and just now it happened twice in 10mins whilst I was simply searching online.

I presume it is a graphics card problem but may be wrong. My system is as follows, would appreciate any help -

Windows 10 (64bit) Intel Core i7-7700HQ @2.80Ghz 16GB RAM Nivida GeForce 1050 4GB 128gb SSD 1TB HDD

Thanks!

If its new then take it back.

Exactly the same here. Same model. Also the mouse has this lag / spikes at times. All drivers are up to date. I have read each and every forum / thread that may help, from a BIOS update to tweaking a few power settings, but still no love. Did you find any solution?

Did you checked the CPU usage? And it only happens when you search online?
