Laptop cooler USB

Anyone got a Newlink Laptop cooler and could help please.
The cooler is new but there are no contact details on their website and nothing else was in the box. Problem - the cooler has multiple built in card readers which do not work (my CF & SD cards read perfectly when connected to the computer directly via a seperate card reader)
When a card is inserted in a slot on the cooler I get the following message and the card has to be reformatted in it's camera.
"The specified Disk appears to be non Windows XP"
Opening a sub menu you get "The file or directory is corrupt and unreadable"
As I have Windows Vista I don't see where the first messages reference to XP came from. Is it possible the cooler has XP capability only - it is brand new from a good chain shop?
It is powered from the laptops USB so I tried removing all other USB devices but to no avail.

Thanks for looking.

Maybe you can try going back to the chain store and ask them for more info?

Its strange that the product came with nothing to show you how it works?

Or search the internet for more info?

Good Luck.

Changed the cooler and new one just the same.
Moral stick to a good seperate reader.
