laptop broadband and dial up modem

Hi all can anybody give me some advice I have adsl set up through my home router for my laptop but I want to use my laptop when I am away from home will |i be able to use a dial up isp such as bt yahoo when traveling around the country using my modem if so how is this charged to me.

If your laptop has Wi-Fi capability,then you can use any Hotspot around the country.hth.

I don't think this will work. As I understand when you sign up for a dialup service it is specific to your telephone number and probably wont work on any other line. If you are using a pay as you go number this should work anywhere.

yes ill be using pay as u go so in theory it should work anywhere then

PAYG does work anywhere - I use Tiscali PAYG from time to time and have never had any problems. It charges the telephone number you are ringing from rather than your home number.
