My laptop has frozen on the start up page. I do not know how to close it down to re start it, as I know I am not to just switch off, also It wouldn't go on the Internet to start with, Thats before it closed down. I clicked on something that said log on automatically. Sorry I cannot remember the correct procedure as I cannot get into the laptop, I am having to use my Desktop for help.

To turn the laptop off, press and hold down the start button for four seconds. Then try normal start up again.

Try pressing the Esc button.Or Ctrl ALT Delete buttons at the same time to see if it will open Task manager and close it from that.
Or the windows Logo on the keyboard see if it opens the start program and switch it off from there.
If not Technotigers way is the only other way to do it.
