how do i set up my keyboard to allow 2 buttons to be pressed at the same time? some games i play need 2 buttons to be pressed exactly at the same time it dont work by holding 1 button then pressing the other...

You just press the keys simultaneously - or am I missing something?

no that doesn't work!

What game and what combination of keys can't you seem to use?

Many games require two keys to pressed at the same time.

if the instruction is press ALT + 4 for example then you hold down the ALT key and tap 4, then release the ALT key.

You can't use 2 keyboards no matter what you think.

Do you need to press the NumLock (or similar) key first to activate the numeric keys? Or maybe the opposite to turn them off.

Outside the game (just in Windows) what happens if you press CTRL+ALT+DEL ?
