My problem, I am Running on this comp Win98se. Problem is I loaded the Drivers USB2, is all recognised in Device Manager USB enhanced driver, also in Imaging Devices it shows when plugged into the USB 1.1 slot but not if plugged into USB2 although they are working as USB2 I have External Hard Drive that works at full USB2 speed. When plugged into USB 1.1 it shows in Device Manager but not in control Panel. WHY?????

Hi, why??? 'fraid I don't know, just saying that I have similar setup in XP, and mine does not show in control panel either! Not that it matters, it works perfectly anyway.

The Camcorder Works OK on my XP computers but not on the 98se. Although it says that it should work even on a old just Win98

Is the usb2 on a PCI card

With my JVC Digital Camcorder I can only use usb for stills, for video I have to use firewire.

Yes and this works with all other USB2 items including my External 200Gb drive. The camera does not get recognised at all in Control Panel. On USB 1.1 or USB 2. But it does show in Device Manager when it's plugged into the USB 1.1 slot, it says it is working OK. But program does not pick it up

Mine is a JVC model GR-D50EK. It works with USB and Firewire OK in XP with Pinnacle 9.5
