Jumper settings for internal drives

I have a IDE HDD and CD-ROM, currently set to Master and Slave. I now want to install a DVD RW drive. What junper settings should I use?

You will need another IDE cable. Is there a spare slot on the motherboard?

Set the cdrom to master and the dvdrw to slave don't worry about the HDD. if you are running XP you may just choose "cable select" and let it sort itself out. Have a look inside before you purchase any new cables, you will probably have suffucient capacity on the existing ones.

Hi, My preferred method would be. Hard drive on Primary IDE as 'Master' or 'Stand Alone'. DVD R/W on Secondary IDE as 'Master' and CD Rom as 'Slave'. Cheers, Bill
