I am n NOT a lover of internet explorer 7 it was loaded onto my system as part of the Sky broadband installation
What I would like to know, can I uninstall it without causing any problems with the broadband and would it revert to Internet Explorer 6 if I did
Many thanks for any advice

Thanks for the quick reply
Could you make it a bit clearer I did ask 2 questions and I am not sure if you mean it will do harm to the Broadband or not or if it would revert to explorer 6
Cheers

It won't cause problems with your broadband.

It will revert to IE6 (have your original Windows CD handy just in case).

"I dont have an original Windows CD I never had one they said all I needed was preloaded"

This occurs time and time again.

What will you do if you need to re-install Windows?

I had that problem, apparently I should have made copy CDs when I first started the machine ( The make was an Acer ) later when I needed them for a reinstall the time had run out and to get copies sent from Acer they were asking £50 for them.
Eventually a got copies from from: click here
Which was about half the cost, with a fast delivery and comprehensive instructions also a help line should I have any problems, there were none.

Your welcome but the thanks should go to 'Strawballs' who gave me the link to help with a problem I had :-)

That's the beauty of this forum is it not?
