is it safe to delete Backweb using regedit

  bsurfer 17:18 08 Sep 2004

For the past few days when I switch on, Backweb 8876480 tries to access the net,I always deny access. When I ran spybot it tells me there are 5 DSO exploit entries,I checked the registry and there are 6 entries for Backweb, 5 are CLSID and 1 is CurVer. Can I safely delete these from the registry? I cannot find them in add/remove and I'm a bit scared to mess about with things I don't know about.

Yes but let Spybot delete them for you.

Thanks, but it keeps appearing even after I've removed it using Spybot.

Follow the manual removal methods click here

In my opinion, you should not invest in this program, just follow the instructions.

Just removed it using regcleaner click here then I went to tools > reg clean > do them all and it then found 96 items that were safe to remove, and so far everything ok.

as was said above about the "trade mark" thingy, it can also be got by holding down the "alt" key and on the the numeric keypad, type 0153..
