hi all a relation is having problems loading a programe on her vista desktop its a programe called advancing physics havn`t seen exactly what message it brings up when she tries to load it but its something to do with ms installer i have tried the cd on my xp desktop and also i have tried it on my vista laptop, both load fine. My question is, would it be possible to load the programme onto a pen drive and run the programme from there, if so what programme would i need to use so that i could install it onto my pen drive?

any advice would be very much appreciated.

No you cannot install and run a program from a pen drive,

Unless it is made so it can by the developers

You could try copying it to a pen drive and try to install it from there,

Have you tried installing it in safe mode,

Reboot into SAFE MODE

1/Click Start and then click Turn Off Computer.
2/In the Turn Off Windows dialog box, click Restart, and then click OK.
3/As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, press F8 repeatedly.
4/Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.
5/If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot system, choose the installation that you need to access using the arrow keys, and then press ENTER.
Note: If Windows launches before you can choose a safe mode, restart your computer and try again
PS/ Sometimes it maybe the F5 key
