I have an incorrect web address which is in the drop down box, under the webaddress box in IE 6. I have tried "Hovering over it " and pressing delete but this doesn't work. Is there a way of clearing just this one as opposed to clearing the entire lot?

you could try searching in history via the drop down box that appears on the left hand side?

Yes there is, Debe, open the registry editor by going to Start > Run, type in:

regedit

and click OK. When the Registry Editor opens, navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

Click on the "TypedURLs" key to open it. In the right-hand pane, right-click on the URL you want to delete and choose "Delete". Close the Registry Editor. Remember to backup the registry before editing.
