Issues with new PC

Recently got a Windows 7 tower click here and I've been having a couple of problems with it, neither of which I know how to replicate.

Firstly it sometimes freezes up very briefly, sound and all, every second or so for a few seconds. I look at the processes tab in task manager and there's no spike so I'm lost.

Second sometimes it won't turn on or wake up, and I need to force it off and cold boot. My friend said it could be the PSU undervolting on the 12V rail, but I've no idea what that means. Initially I thought it was the GPU overheating as it was near a radiator, so I moved it away, but no joy.

Any help please?

How recent is recently? Return to retailer may well be the best way ahead.

Try a 'System Restore' to before this started happening.

If that doesn't do it, I suggest you follow Woolwell's advice, while it's still covered by the guarantee.
