iso file problem

Hello folks, I have an iso file that I've been given, I've burned it as an image with Nero 5 but when I open it, it's a ZIP file with a .cab extension. When I try to extract with Winzip I get a message that it is not in the correct cab format and the 'signature bytes' required by microsoft CAB are missing. Does that ring any bells with anyone, is there anything I can do differently or is it just a crap file? Any ideas?

not sure about your specific problem, but MagicISO click here might work

You could try looking at the iso file with isobuster click here

It can often extract files where others fail

I'm at work just now, but I'll give them a go when I get home. (That's where the icky iso file is). I'll let you know how I get on.
