My son has this error on his pc.
Isass.exe system error, File not found.
When you press ok it restarts.
Its the same in safe mode.
I have done a seach on isass, but there is nothing that tells you how to stop it restarting.

Firstly are you totally sure you have spelt this correctly ?
We will need to know if any letters are upper and lower case.

This can be disguised as a virus,i would suggest you update your Antivirus and run it as soon as possible.

one is spelt with a capital I and the other a lower case l. This site should help remove the worm.

Run your Av in safe mode.Tapping F8 on startup will get you to safemode.

Even in safe mode pressing ok or x on system error it just restarts.

Start, Run, type

shutdown -a

and click OK to stop it from restarting.

I have no start menu.
I get bois screen
Then the hard discs that are installed
The windows xp screen (black one) with the cursors that goes from left to right
Then a blank screen with a box in the middle with the system error in it.

Open the case and check all cables are firmly connected and check any pci/pcie cards are seated firmly and check the ram also.
While the case is open,check the fans are clear of dust etc...
