iPAQ wi-fi users

  accord 23:15 25 Nov 2004

Having recently upgraded my PDA to an iPAQ 4150 with wi-fi and now set up BTOpenzone, I was wondering do I need to have some sort of anti virus / firewall software on it, as I have on my home PC.

Could anyone out there using wi-fi via a PDA please advise your set up and experiences.

As usual, thanks for you help

I think you don't need to worry yet.

The very first virus for a PPC was discovered last July I believe.

Just make sure you have got a complete backup. This is quick and easy to do on a PPC as you are only dealing with a small amount of data.
