Hi, I at the moment am using the free software IObit Advanced System Care, and I find it works ok but the only item I am worried about using is where it mentions > shortcut fixer if anybody knows regarding this software, should I be wary in using this..... fixer?

yes it is ok. as with all checks like these back up first.

The fixer removes shortcut icons that have become obsolete,(software that has been deleted very often leaves its now dormant shortcut in place)

As suunystaines says, it's OK.

Hi, ok I will go for it, but expect tears if it goes wrong! thanks again.

Using it here without any problems - as suggested above - backup first then you always have the option to restore. Nice piece of software and easy to use.
