Despite having an 80Gb HD, after trying a Linux distro & uninstalling it, W98SE can only "see" 28Gb. What's the best (or cheapest) way of recovering the unseen part for Windows?

in Windows98 You have to start computer with a floppy disc, and run in DOS

FDISK /MBR

Or if you can get into DOS by shutting down to DOS from within Windows. Not a MS-DOS Prompt it as to be a True DOS a Black screen, not a blue screen, and run the above command this will restore your Partition Information

Thanks Woodchip, I'll give it a go.
