Does anyone have first hand experience of getting on the net using Suse 10,a Dlink router and AOL. If so,could you please tell me the procedure.

I think you are in the wrong place for your question, although I have had a old Suse on in the past plus others, it's not like working with windows. You need to do some googling on Suse 10 setup of the above. On the computer you are using now

in the router settings the connection details need to be your original screen name ([email protected]) and password.
Make sure the MTU is set at 1400.
Suse only needs to connect to your LAN (ie the router)
Can't be more specific as I've never used a Dlink router.
You don't need any AOL software.

The router settings are the most important.
LAN settings will be configured by Suse.
If you've got access to the router under Windows do the set up in the router first.
You must have done this otherwise how can you post here?
