internet sharing how ?

hi all got 2 pc's linked via crossover cable all seems to be working now ( thank god)

just 1 question how do i enable internet sharing

useing xp pro on both machines adn internet explorer

If you go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Communication > Network Setup Wizard (then from here you can enable Internet sharing). At the end of the process it will then ask you to create a Network Disk for the other computer.
Pop in a Floppy disk and do so, and then pop it into your other machine and it should work mate. I have done the same thing.

Brilliant idea if you have got Broadband. Good luck

hi diodorus ive just tryed this but in the

Click the dial–up, local area network, PPPoE, or VPN connection you want to share, and then, under Network Tasks, click Change settings of this connection.

On the Advanced tab, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box.

the allow other network users box isnt there ?

any thoughts
