internet home page

How can I delete (permantly) unwanted home page connections.

My pc runs on win98se.
Settings/ control panel/ internet properties/general/home page.
When I click on blank and expand the page.Itis full of unwanted site.

But when selecting blank, are you then clicking on "Apply" and "OK"?

WARNING! This will clear your cookies. If you don't want to do that, export them to a floppy or elsewhere first using File/Import and Export in IE. You will then be able to import them after running CleanUp!

HI, I have the same problem, I just can't get rid of one called Space Search. I have used the Clean Up program, but its still there when I switch on!

I'd love to hear from anybody who has got rid of these things permanently.


It appears that the problems you are having are caused by your browsers being hijacked the worst one I have come across being coolwebsearch this is a nasty beast it changes itself when you try to remove it with adaware or spybot but help is
out there Hijackthis and CWShredder can be run to eliminate these Space Search sounds like a variant
of coolwebsearch With HijackThis you have to post a log file which it creates on
and you will be told what to remove by their
"experts" Check it out it may be of some use
