i have just got a 8.9 inch acer mini laptop for my son for christmas,i have already got dial up orange anytime internet for my pc,do i need a separate internet for my sons laptop.please help i have no idea about this subject.thanks m.clark

No, you won't need a separate internet account.

You can load the same software on to the Acer mini that you have on the PC using the Orange CD.

But be aware that you won't be able to connect the PC and the laptop to the internet at the same time.

If the netbook doesn't have a dialup modem installed, then you'll need an external dialup modem to be able to connect the netbook to your dialup connection. If you had broadband, you could use a router to wirelessly connect both your computer and your son's new netbook.

Since you only have dial up look at using ICS as a mean of allowing your son computer access to the

Internet via your dial up modem

Once it set up correct both can access the Internet at the same time or you can use a switch and connect

both computer via a Ethernet cable with dial up access via your computer
