Since I upgraded to internet explorer 7 I noticed that when i am on the internet, that when i come to close any website down it sometimes seems to freeze, and then i have to use the close down method, which takes ages to do, then when close down it comes up with, do i want to send the message to microsoft.
this does not happen within any programs that i use on the computer, it only happens when i am connected to the internet, this only occur since i upgraded to the explorer 7, and it did not do this before.
any ideas of how to solve this problem.

Hi [email protected], I know this is not a cure but have you tried using Firefox as your internet browser and seeing if the same thing happens when you shut down a webpage?

also IE6 used to have a 'repair' option but I've looked in control panel/add remove software/Internet explorer 7/ and it seems its only an uninstall option.

have you tried uninstalling IE7 rebooting your pc and reinstalling IE7 again?

I believe if you try to uninstall it. It should give you the option of repair or uninstall.
