i don't really know much about computers but im using xp service pack 2 and on saturday a window popped up sayng i needed to upgrade to ie7, so i followed the link and installed it! after i had installed it the internet page keept saying that it can not be displayed,so couldnt get on net, could get on msn but not into my mail and so on. so i went back and uninstalled ie7 and went back to last saved settings. but im still having trouble, when trying to get on internet page is takin forever to come up then when i type in what i want to search for numerous windows are opening and they are all just staying blank! i have automatic updates on avg but now telling me update manager as failed and when it allows me to go to avg site like it tells me to do, it still don't solve the problem! updates so far then fails. scanned with spybot which came up ok and also scanned with avg but apart from odd tracking cookie, it says there are no threats fount! can anyone help?
