Tonight someone briefly 'hacked' my account, which I managed to stop before any damage occured.

I am interested to find out who/where it was done from. I have just been given a group of 4 numbers.
These are 10.6.17.245

I can go on a website to get my own IP address.

Is it possible to put in a groups of the 4 number to find out where it came from?

Keith.

you have probably been given the numbers which are a IP address so that you type them in to your address bar and make a connection. If all is well with your computer I would take no action

You can view what info you send to the WEB, including your IP addy, here click here

The sign held by the little character at the top of the page will tell you all you need to know.

Note: Only you can see this info. Trouble is now you will spend all your time trying to find a way to hide this info.

Have fun Kev. :-)

Thanks - its nice to know that I am not the only one. How did this twit manage to hack it?

Is there a flaw in Ebay security?
