Hi, i have an Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz Socket 775 processor and i was wondering i think it is a 32bit could someone clarify as i am thinking of upgrading to a 64bit if possible. But also tempted to build my own computer. I have a Dell Dimension 5100, as everest tells me its a Dell Dimension 5100 motherboard...
If you need anymore details please ask :)

I was also wondering if it is possible to put an AMD Athlon x64 in it as apparently 64bit AMX64 instruction set is supported. Or am i interpreting it the wrong way?

The only upgrade that you could make, if your board revision supports it or will support it after a BIOS flash, is another 775-land processor. That means P4 500 or 600 series (1MB and 2MB L2 cache respectively) or a Pentium-D dual-core.
