Installing Mozilla

This may be alittle naive but

if I install Mozilla does it appear as a separate icon on my desktop so that I can either open IE from its icon or Mozilla from its icon?

Are all the set ups exactly the same when I set up Mozilla as when I set up IE?

Yes, you can use the relevant icon to open the relevant program. The mozilla icon will open mozilla, IE will open IE.

You can also choose which browser to make default - the option will be given when you first run Mozilla.

It's a while since I installed Firefox but, IIRC, you will have the opportunity to import IE's settings and configuration etc either then or afterwards from File>Import.

It's a slightly different route from Thunderbird if you also switch e-mail clients - this time it's from Tools>Import.

The Mozilla browser includes its own e-mail client. The Firefox browser has no email but you can use the separate Thunderbird email with this.
