I have a small hard disk on my daughters pc.
She used it just for storage but now no longer needs it.

Is it possible to install win 98 - there is plenty of room - on this disk, and,if so,could someone tell me how please. It is listed as primary slave

Your intention being to dual boot ? or not ? The drive Would have to be designated as C: as windows only installs there. If you have a system allready then its best to unplug your original drive IDE cable & power(or hide it with PM ( but I prefer unplugging))then go about installing the smaller drive in the same spot & configuration ,master Ide1 ,etc fdisk & format & install w98 add drivers to suit the hardware ..Then change drive to slave location altering jumpers to suit add Boot magic or the likes to dual boot between the hd's ..If its just extra space your after just reformat the smaller drive and add as slave.
