Install OS via FTP...How?

I have just downloaded over 3Gb's of Suse linux.Tried everything I could to make the cdr's bootable(then hunted thru the net to find that it can only be done via FTP)How do you do this please?

Download the bootable ISO from an FTP mirror, then follow the instructions in the README -> click here

All you need do it burn the CD, boot it, and point the installation at the current SUSE tree either on the Internet or your own network. You'll notice it says "Preparing your own installation server - Just copy the whole installation tree to your local disk and make it available via network". Seeing as you probable already have the SUSE current tree available, do as it suggests. :)
