Inserting a transparent image in a document.

  [email protected] 11:34 04 Mar 2006

I have prepared a document in word, on the subject of Food. I would like to place an image over it relative to the subject but obviously be able to read it as well. Anyone know how to do this? I have XP Home with Office XP Pro. Thanks.

does not the insert or format options allow for various options including over text?

Insert the picture. Right click the picture and select Format Picture. On the Layout tab select Behind Text.

You may also want to increase the brightness on the Picture tab to make the text more legible, depending on how dark the picture is.
