i have a pc with dell monitor(1980*1080p) which can support both vga and hdmi. but my mother board dont have hdmi slot.

my friend told that we can connect through converters. presently iam using my pc with vga cable. but iam not getting the actual picture quality. so, is there is way to get full picture quality with the same mother board.

you will never get the picture quality by converters as they convert not upgrade

your going to have to fit a new graphics card with a HDMI port

Both VGA and HDMI support your 1920 x 1080 resolution so no real advantage in HDMI except ease of connection and sound also included in HDMI signal.

The main difference is that VGA is an analogue signal and HDMI is a digital signal.
