Although I`ve seen the above advertised, there is no mention on the AMD web site.
There seems to be discrepencies on the bus speed, some mention 200Mz others 266Mz. Which is correct?

thanks in anticipation.

Hi alan K. The confusion appears to be due to the fact that the 1.6G Duron comes in both flavours. You can check which one you have from the code number. This information is from a customer review at Ebuyer

decoded from Right to left.........

FSB: C = 266

L2 Cache: 1 = 64 Kb

Die Temp: V = 85c

Operating Voltage: L = 1.5v

Package Type: D = OPGA

Frequency: 1600--------

Generation: HD = High-Performance Desktop

Processor Family: D = Duron

thanks Gongoozler for your response.
As there is a otherwise total silence I will click this as resolved.
