Old Englist Sheep dog 11:24 07 Jan 2004

I upgraded my PC with the following hardware.
Motherboard: A7N8X-E deluxe
Processor : AMD XP2800
Graphic Card: Powercolor Radeon 9200 258MB
Memory : Kingston DDR400 PC3200 2 X 256MB
DVD Drive: NEC DVD Writer

I was able to boot up using Windows 2000 floppy disks (4 disks) and access the DVD drive. Used the repair option to repair the boot disk.

The problem I had was when booting up from C: (my existing hard drive), I got the error message "Inaccessible_boot_device".

Before getting this error message, the screen displayed Starting Windows with progress bar completed, then Windows 2000 screen is displayed, on the starting up progress bar, it show about a 10th then it stop with the above error message.

I had no problem booting up from the hard drive before the upgrade.

Can anyone help me on this? Thanks
