Import .MOV into Pinnacle

  EFC1878 13:55 17 Nov 2005

I have a Kodak digital camera which records video with sound. So far I have been unable to import these files into Pinnacle Studio 9 to enable me to then edit the file as with any other captured vidoe.

I presume that thisis because of the file extension .MOV which I beleive is a QuickTime MOvie file extension.

Any ideas?

Hi, trying to find specs on Pinnacle 9 to see if they do accept .mov format.I think the earlier versions of Pinnacle such as 6 do but can't find a definitive answer on 9. If they don't you can actually get .mov to avi or mpeg converters such as those at click here.

Not sure if they do a free trial but the license for the shareware is only $29 anyway. Possibly worthwhile, if you are planning on lots of .mov's, or hunting for a freebie if it is a one off

Hope this helps
