If it's not to me, it's spam

  greybeard 11:22 13 Mar 2006

My isp does quite a good job in preventing spam coming to my mail box, but there is still quite a residue that gets through.
Most of it has silly names as the recipient.
Is there any way to allow only mail with a specific name to get through ?
If this is impossible please let me know, and I'll just learn to love it and live with it !

if you are using oe you can set up message rules or alternatively get mailwasher from d/loads section of this site.

Many thanks both, I'll give mailwasher a try.

Is the 'message rules' window case sensitive ?

  rawprawn 12:09 13 Mar 2006

I don't use OE but I don't think it is case sensitive. The link I gave you is for a free Multi email address Mailwasher. I think that the download one on this site will be only single address.
