For some reason at times when I use the PC the tool bars in IE8 are Black as are the vertical borders on this site any ideas
Use control button (bottom left of keyboard) and scroll wheel on mouse to "zoom in" and hide vertical borders.
Thanks that clears the verticals but still puzzled why the toolbars have gone from Grey to Black
This MAY help - Open Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet Options - General Tab - Appearance - Colours - UNTICK "Use Windows Colours" - click OKOne possible cause - If you are using a desktop calendar program, this can result in changing the theme to its own, which results in the black IE toolbars.
Thanks but strangely this morning they gone back to grey and no not using calendar weird
I had the same problem. Got so it was always black. Tried many suggestions and nothing helped. Had to go back to IE7
