IE7 loses entries from address bar

Can anyone help please? I'm running IE7 and this week have suddenly been unable to keep any historical entries on the address bar. The normal history isn't affected just the address bar. This appeared to start after the last MS updates were installed.

If you into tools>internet options>Browsing history>settings You should have around 50MB+ of pages being stored, and make sure that the history at the bottom is more than 0 days.

The number of days is set to 99 and the disk space is 300kb!

I too have noticed a similar problem.

Hi, 300kb? that does not sound right - that is less than one third of a Mb.

Sorry I meant to say mb

I'm also finding that it deletes the homepage from the BBC search engine

I've discovered the cause of the problem. My Firewall (etrust) had changed the cookie settings so that cookies expired immediately.

Grreat, glad you have solved it.
