IE7 Another serious problem

  Antz 10:27 05 Dec 2006

I'm trying to update IE7 Release Candidate 1 to the official release version but I hit on a major problem. While removing RC1 the installation hung. I tried to remove RC1 from add/remove programs only for it to hang again on "Windows/System 32/en-us/admparse.dll". I'm stuck now, I have neither version of IE7. I have tried system restore only to get an error report when trying to open IE7.I have tried to uninstall in Safe luck. I have searched forums including this one to find that'admparse.dll' is a troublesome module but cannot find any solution to this problem. Any suggestions?????????

I don't want to re-install Windows XP. I did so recently......... a complete nightmare.

You could try a 'repair' install and still keep data or a sfc if you've got an xp disc. click here
