IE6 with ? in front of monetary values

  BerkoBish 18:58 03 Mar 2003

Does anyone know why I get a ? in front of all monetary value on websites. eg £27,000 would appear ?7,000

Not much use.

I have checked the fonts in internet options

Can you tell us which font you are using as your default IE font?

? is used to replace Unicode characters that cannot be displayed on a page. Could it be the Euro character that is missing from your font?

Ensure that your font is Arial or Times New Roman and try again. Post the website links here for others to check.

what he means is that the figures, not symbols, get replaced.

99.99 will appear as ?9.99 or ??.99

his fonts are fine. It happens on webpages that i use and they're fine on my pc. so if he posts the links you won't see the problem anyway.

I've tried doing a system scan, looked at internet options and it's not helped.
he's tried to repair windows using the XP cd, but it didn't fix the prob.

I just can't figure it out.
