ie trying to connect to ukca0026 iqtest

  usbuser 20:05 22 Sep 2004

When my friend double clicks on ie the connect box is showing the dialup as "ukca0026". It appears that a program called iqtest has taken over. it is now shown in startup or in add/remove programs. It is on the start/program list.
We have deleted the icon on the desktop and the file in c:\windows\startmenu\programs. unable find any other trace of it. On reboot the problem is still there. It is possible to connect to the internet by going into dialup networking and selecting from there.
The os is windows 98se.

Any advice would be appreciated.

It would appear that the problem has been solved at the moment. I have not seen the problem first hand. It would appear that my friend is able to select her proper dialup account from the connect screen. As she has not contacted me I have to presume that all is ok
Thanks for your response.
