Sometimes I can close some IE windows and sometimes I cannot. The only way that I can close these windows is by Crl,alt, delete, then I can see that the cpu load is 100%.Anyone know what the problems might be and how to solve them?

i cannot suggest anything other than your own method of closing using end task.

is this happening all the time?

try a repair of IE. control panel/add remove programs/add remove windows components/internet explorer click remove then repair

also have a look in control panel/administrative tools/event viewer for any errors that may point to a problem
