IE 8 problem with Win 7

  midian 16:20 24 May 2010

I have been using Windows 7 for a few months and recently I have found that after going back to desktop from using Internet Explorer 8 that it leaves a white icon on the desktop each time. It didnt do this from the start as I said only recently. I open the file up with word and this is what I get...

5/24/2010 12:31:50|977|hComboIE7:0|hHookPC:0|hIFrame:0|hWndAddress:0|wndLong:0|wndLongCB:0|wndPC:1961996203|TabProcessID:0|TabThreadID:0|Message:SetSite(); before ReadParam()|Redirect:|Text:;

Any idea how to stop this from happening as im tired of deleting loads of these each week.

Sorry I can't read your thread it seems to be twice the width of normal and is blocked by the "Mobile Broadband" AD
Other threads seem OK.

How very odd - same as rawprawn with me too

The width problem is caused by the string of text posted by midian with no spaces - it's the same effect as when posting a broken link.

Thanks for the explanation, I thought it was time for a visit to the Optitian!

Hopefully midian will repost with a break in the line of text so that we can see the problem.

Same here, but I use AD Block.
