IE 6

I've been trying to install IE6 off the disk in this month's mag and it keeps taking me through setup and then telling me that it can't install it. Any thoughts on what I should do?

Have you looked for the setup file for IE6 on the CD in Win Explorer and run from that

PS the folder with lots of cab files

I tried woodchip's idea and also huggyg71 but I get this message which initially says setup was unable to install all the components. Please close all applications and try setup again (all applications were closed).
Then I get a message which says that it was unable to complete installation of
IE6 web browser
Browser customizations
Advanced Authoring
Vector Graphics Rendering

Anyone else got any ideas how to sort this out?

Nice idea but at around 11-75mb (typical 25mb) or so and without being able to use a Download manager on 56k - A non starter for most of us.

Huggyg71 I do have ME and I followed that link. Got as far as step 3 and typed in the very long rundll32 etc and got 'error in setupapi Missing entry' Now what?
This is getting to the edge of my competence in pcs. BTW I am on broadband so downloading stuff isn't a problem.
