Hi there! I am looking to update my motherboard and I'm a noob when it comes too what I need and so on. My motherboard can only take 2x2GB DDR2 RAM sticks and I am looking for at least 8GB to go in my PC. I have searched on how to find out what motherboard I have and I was told to do this on Windows 10: Right click on Start, click Command Prompt, and type "wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer, version, serialnumber" so I did that and this came up

Manufacture: Packard Bell BV

Product: MCP73VT-PM

SerialNumber: 00000000

Version: 1.0

So I was wondering what sort of motherboard should I be looking for?

My system:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40GHz

Installed memory (RAM): 4.00GB

System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based Processor

**If you need anymore information, then ask what you need and how to find it, also if you see anything else that needs updating or got some recommendations, please feel free to share. P.S: I am not looking to turn my PC into a gaming PC, I just want it to be better and my budget isn't massive.**

Packard bell tend to use proprietary parts manufactured specifically for their systems. I would suggest you would need to contact Packard Bell and ask them if it can be upgraded i would suspect not but you never know
