I need printer help please.

A client has been emailing me with a Canon printer problem.

She has a Canon i950, which has worked perfectly "for ages", but has suddenly refused to work. It started flashing lights at her, and over the course of a phone call or two I worked out that the excess ink sponge was full. I talked the client through the cleaning process, and she successfully cleaned the sponge and reassembled everything. Job done, switched on, and........ still those lights flash the same error message.

There's a coded button-pushing sequence for resetting the printer, and my client has tried this "until my fingers are almost bleeding" but with no success.

Any thoughts please? All contributions will be very welcome, because I'll get no peace until this is sorted - she's a tad pushy to say the least.

for all that help. I've passed the links to my client, and so far all is quiet.

Much appreciated.
