I need the cheapest laptop in the world

Hi

I need a laptop but am very poor. How little, realistically, could I get away with paying for one which I can use office apps on, mainly WP, maybe the odd spreadsheet?

No surfing, gaming, video, music or anything like that.

It would be nice if I could connect it wirelessly to my PC but I am happy to save and get a wireless thingy at a later date.

Would need a floppy drive.

Don't care where it comes from as long as it is cheap (and legal).

I did a quick search on the forum but all the links I found where too expensive and the specs where probably too high.

I just want the slowest processor, least ram, bottomest spec laptop with a price to match.

Any ideas anyone?

Many thanks

Tas

Thanks for the link, the cheapest I see there is £257.

Can anyone beat this?

I know I'm probably asking a lot, but all I will use it for is a bit of college work during my lunch break at work, once the course is done I will never use it again. Hence my reluctance to get a good one, or spend much money.

TIA

Tas

You could try eBay - you might get lucky with this, people generally want to bid on the higher specced machines, so there might be a lower cost one with not much interest!
