I put all of my bank and credit card statements on a spreadsheet and have been doing this for years. It gives me a bank balance for every day to the end of each year and a nett worth every day. Some (most?) people may think this is over the top but I find it useful and enjoy doing it. I update it every morning.
This morning the file doesn't exist. Every other file in the same folder is still there. I have used the search facility and Recuva to try to find it but it just isn't there.
This isn't the end of the world as I have backups to the end of last month but can anybody explain how this could have happened. I'm on W10 and using Office 2016.
