I Have Bagle.U worm and cannot delete it

  bison 16:01 12 May 2004

I have AVG anti virus on my PC and when scanned, I have discovered the worm Bagle.u in C:_\RESTORE\TEMP file name A0058678.CPY
I have tried the cleaner AVG advises (vcleaner) to no avail(even renaming the exe).
I have also used "avast!"
Both state that virus will be deleted after restart, but when I rescan with AVG after restart it's still there.
I have also tried "beagleremover" which states I do not have the virus......!
Is the reason for this is that the virus is not active?
If so what do I do?
Any ideas as I have been trying to get rid of it since 09:00 this a.m.
Thanks in advance.

Scan again then reactivate System restore. You will lose all your restore points but it's better than having a virus.
