I can't access my "Conacts" list in gmail

using the "Gmail" drop down tab (top left of screen) gives the options: "Gmail - Contacts - Tasks" On clicking "Contacts" I repeatedly get this message: **"Your Contacts are here. Contacts, and many other Google apps, can be found under this menu. Got it"** But the list of actual contacts does not open. How do I resolve this please? The Gmail "Help Pages" offer no advice on this issue that I can see.

There's a new version of Gmail and you should have been offered it. Contacts is now offered via the nine square 'google apps' icon usually on top right. Open that and contacts will open in a new tab.

Thank you rdave13. You are absolutely right. I've got the Contacts working OK now. I appreciate your help.
